RSE «National Center for Biotechnology» of the SC MES RK was reorganized into LLP «National Center for Biotechnology» and included in the JSC «National Holding «QazBioPharm» of the MH RK.
2017
Establishment of a branch of the RSE «National Center for Biotechnology» of the SC MES RK in the city of Almaty. The branch was founded in the Central Reference Laboratory in September 2017.
2015
RSE «National Center for Biotechnology» of the SC MES RK moved to a new modern building in the left-bank part of the capital along the Korgalzhyn highway. The area of the new center is more than 29.000 sq.m. The complex includes 5 separate buildings, including laboratory facilities, a vivarium for keeping laboratory animals and conducting preclinical studies, and a hostel for the staff of the center.
2010
Reorganization of the RSE «National Center for Biotechnology of the Republic of Kazakhstan» of the SC MES RK by joining the RSE «Center for Biological Research» of the SC MES RK. Renaming of the RSE «National Center for Biotechnology of the Republic of Kazakhstan» of the SC MES RK into the RSE «National Center for Biotechnology» of the SC MES RK. Subsidiary state enterprises of the NCB received the status of RSE, and withdrew from the NCB.
2009
Establishment of the LLP «Scientific and Analytical Center «Biomedpreparat» under the RSE «National Center for Biotechnology of the Republic of Kazakhstan» of the SC MES RK.
2007
Start of construction of a new research complex of the RSE «National Center for Biotechnology of the Republic of Kazakhstan» of the SC MES RK.
2006
Establishment of a branch of the RSE «National Center for Biotechnology of the Republic of Kazakhstan» of the SC MES RK in the city of Stepnogorsk and three subsidiary state enterprises: SSE «Republican Collection of Microorganisms»; SSE «Research Institute for Biological Safety Problems»; SSE «Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology».
2005
Established as a Republican State Enterprise on Right of Economic Management «National Center for Biotechnology of the Republic of Kazakhstan» of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
1993
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republican State Enterprise «National Center for Biotechnology» of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan was established.
