  • We have developed a novel viral expression system that allows controllable, high level expression of foreign genes in plant hosts based on Tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV) genome. The fact that the TBSV genome encodes the p19 protein, capable of inhibition of posttranscriptional silencing and enhancing expression levels for each gene in the viral RNA (including heterologous ones), is a significant advantage of the TBSV vector system. The results indicate that the TBSV - based protein production system is suitable for transient production of various proteins in plants;
  • Cotton variety Turkistan (Gossypium hirsutum L.) was genetically modified by the Agrobacterium tumefaciens harboring a binary vector carrying PAT gene determining resistance to the herbicide phosphinothricin.
  • Production of codon optimized synthetic genes and DNA fragments (de novo synthesis of genes with sequences provided by customer), with lengths 500 bp - 2000 bp;
  • Production of expression constructs for expression of the recombinant proteins in plant cells;
  • Production of recombinant proteins in plants.
